Ragging is considered a CRIME in educational institutions. In accordance with directives from the UGC, Govt. of India, and PCI, our institute maintains a strict Anti-Ragging Committee for the 2024-25 academic year to ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
To prohibit any conduct by students—whether spoken, written, or acted—which has the effect of teasing, rudeness, or rowdy behavior towards freshers. Our primary goal is to eliminate ragging in all its forms by prohibiting it under strict Regulations, preventing its occurrence, and punishing those who indulge in such activities to protect the physique and psyche of every student.
Any of the following acts are strictly punishable under the law:
Teasing, treating with rudeness, or public insults via spoken words, emails, or posts.
Bodily harm, sexual abuse, obscene acts, or any danger to health and person.
Forcing a fresher into any form of financial expenditure or exploitation of services.
Any act that affects the mental health, self-confidence, or generates a sense of shame.
Preventing or disturbing the regular academic activities of a fresher or student.
Resolving complaints received from victims through verified enquiries.
